Mazda6 - now available with an effortless brand of power that’s sure to elevate your mood.
The Mazda6 sets your mind and body at ease with reducing wind and road noise so you and your passengers can have clear conversation.
We want you and your passengers to feel the comfort. If you drive across long distances, your body will feel like you just went across short distances.
The Ultrasuede® trim that lines the doors and dashboard features is a subtle sheen derived from a similar technique used to make traditional Japanese kimonos.
Maneuvering in and out of tight spaces is a challenge for every driver. We’ve made it a lot easier with our available 360° View Monitor. It uses four cameras to display the car’s periphery on the center display. Additionally, parking sensors at the front and rear help detect proximity to obstacles. It’s all about giving you, the driver, a full picture of your surroundings.
This 2.0-liter engine features a balance between the spirited drive of its powerful low- to mid-range torque and excellent fuel efficiency. New air intake port, new shapes of piston in the areas of its top/edge of top/skirt, new piston rings, new fuel injection system and Water Flow Management system are incorporated. These changes increase low-end torque by 6.2 percent, while also reducing real-world fuel consumption and particulate matter formation during combustion. The result is enhanced levels of dynamic performance, fuel economy, and environmental friendliness.
Mazda’s Skyactiv-Vehicle Dynamics with G-Vectoring Control helps achieve a smoother, less fatiguing drive. When cornering, the system works seamlessly by adjusting power delivery.
Inspired technology that inspires confidence. Available i-Activsense® vehicle safety innovations use advanced sophisticated technologies like cameras and radar to give you a sixth sense for safety, helping to alert you to potential hazards and avert collisions - before they happen - or reduce their severity. It’s another way Mazda helps you focus on the drive.
RCTA uses the same sensors as BSM to alert the driver when it detects vehicles approaching from either side during reversing operations. Warnings are given by a flashing indicator in the door mirror and a beep.
LDWS senses lane markings on the road surface. When the system predicts departure from the lane it issues an audible warning similar to the noise a car makes when it runs onto a rumble strip to prompt timely steering corrections. The system assesses driver inputs such as use of the turn signals to weed out false alarms.
BSM uses 24GHz quasi-milliwave radar sensors to detect vehicles in the blind spots behind and to the side, and using a turn signal while BSM detects a vehicle triggers visual and audio warnings.
DSC with TCS electronically controls braking force applied to each wheel to help prevent under- or oversteer and maintain vehicle stability when cornering on slippery roads or during sudden steering inputs.
With the high-performance forward sensing camera, Advanced SCBS detects vehicles and pedestrians* in front of the vehicle and automatically applies the brakes to help avoid collisions and mitigate collision damage while driving between approximately 4 and 80km/h (sensing a vehicle ahead) or between approximately 10 and 80km/h (sensing a pedestrian). *Detection of pedestrians and consequent automatic braking are not available in certain countries and regions.
